Mounted with silver straight suspension bar, slight edge knocks, fine.
A Weaver from Dunfermline he enlisted as a private on 9th November 1805. He served in the Peninsular War and was made POW on 24th September 1813-24th June 1814.
McLean served in Captain Dugald Campbell’s Company at the Battle of Waterloo.
He was discharged on 25th October 1825.
